@khouryrt Mobbler has never been dependant on Python. It’s always been Symbian C++. You might be thinking of ASPYPlayer…

@JGallo02 None of us have a Maemo device and it’s a very different platform to Symbian, but who knows what could happen in the future… /e

via TweetDeck in reply to JGallo02

@JGallo02 Sorry, but we’re not planning on making an app for Maemo at the moment. /e

via TweetDeck

Sorry, we can’t scrobble @Spotify for Symbian. Please ask them for that feature. We’re willing to help though. /e

@ashenr: Get your very own Mobbler build to study and play with here: http://code.google.com/p… /Hugo

via TweetDeck in reply to ashenr

@ashenr Because none of the devs want to add it themself. We are open source and are happy to take contributions from devs that do though.

@MickyFin No plans at the moment, but who knows what could happen…

We’ve found how to open google maps to lead you to your @lastfm events. Anyone fancy a map of @foursquare recommendations near an event? /e

@michaelodonnell Yes, so that it’s there next time and doesn’t need to be downloaded again. You can turn it off in the settings if you want.

via TweetDeck in reply to michaelodonnell

@ninjalandpirate It’s to share stuff with your friends on Last.fm: http://bit.ly/QKW2H No option to share with Twitter yet. /Hugo

@eydryan You can download old versions from here: http://bit.ly/3NTr1B /Hugo

@hadoken13 Mobbler scrobbles both the S60 music player and Last.fm radio. Doesn’t matter if the sound comes out through your car radio /Hugo

via TweetDeck in reply to hadoken13

@MohammadAG You need to subscribe to listen to loved tracks, and you need to love at least 45 tracks by 15 artists. http://bit.ly/4hAAFj

via TweetDeck in reply to MohammadAG

@eydryan Those errors are more likely your data connection than the E51 Have a look at our FAQ http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl…

@markitoshoppus We tried it, but it wasn’t easy to get it working nicely. There are plenty of 3rd party autostarters, I use PowerBoot. /Hugo

via TweetDeck in reply to markitoshoppus

RT @MMariusG: What I like about Mobbler is that you can set a timer to stop the app. Very handy when I go to sleep listening to Last.fm.

via TweetDeck

@stephenwing Yes, it’s an idea that’s been around for a while. Maybe it’s time we did something about it… /e

via Tweets60

RT @janole: … Very cool. I’ve received my @Mobbler mug and T-Shirt yesterday btw ;-)

via Tweets60

RT @lucio_ferrao: @Mobbler is the reason why I prefer my Nokia E51 over an iPhone. I’m unable to stream Last.fm with an iPhone in Portugal.

via TweetDeck

@yeshin 64 and 128kbps are the only bitrates the Last.fm API offers, sorry about that. /H

via TweetDeck in reply to _hsb

@yeshin 64kbps over GPRS might work. Change the bitrate in the settings. /H

via TweetDeck in reply to _hsb

…and we’re giving it away for free. What a bunch of idiots! /e

via TweetDeck

@SamusAranX It’s an estimate based on the code size and developer wages. In reality it cost only our free time.

via web in reply to SamusAranX

@SamusAranX Sounds like a lot to me. It was a surprised damn. /e

via web in reply to SamusAranX

According to Ohloh http://bit.ly/2x8iTK Mobbler is 33.5 K lines of code, 8 person years effort, and $439,000 of dev costs. Damn!

via TweetDeck

@psam Here’s the link again http://bit.ly/s0crp . It’s because Last.fm made it not free in your area. You using Mobbler was a coincidence.

via TweetDeck in reply to psam

@yeshin Some tips: don’t download album art, make sure the backlight isn’t set to stay on, don’t skip track half way through… /e

via Gravity in reply to _hsb

@yeshin We could stop it downloading and playing audio, but it would become a bit less useful.

via Gravity in reply to _hsb
