RT @Joyfalula: Having a lovely relaxing sunday arvo. Using Mobbler to select soulful tunes, eating bagels & drinking vodka cocktails. BLISS

Mobbler now has a Facebook vanity URL! www.facebook.com/mobbler

@santoshp Aha, if it sounds like it’s playing at half-speed, it must be this: http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl… . We’ll look into it, thanks!

via web in reply to santoshp

@santoshp If you’re not a last.fm subscriber, you can’t get 64 kbps. It should force you to use 128, but just select it yourself for now.

@Kardboard Thanks! It’s the work of @c1rrus and he deliberately tried to make it good.

Last chance to vote on the new Mobbler logo http://poll.fm/10q83 I’ll be closing the poll in the next 30 minutes or so.

Thanks for all the logo votes so far! Looking forward to more of your comments and votes. See earlier tweets and vote: http://poll.fm/10q83

@pedromobil In theory, yes, but it would need work from us and also LCG and OggPlay. See http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl… 162, 163, and 399.

via web in reply to pedromobil

@Suyi By keeping an eye on Twitter search for “Mobbler” to help our dear users, and you recently tweeted about the 5800 :)

via web in reply to Suyi

@symbianguru The current one is not our logo, so no. Sorry!

via web in reply to symbianguru

Two proposed Mobbler logos from the talented @c1rrus in the following tweets. Please comment everywhere and vote here http://poll.fm/10q83

via web

@Suyi We heard there’ll be an API available soonish that we’ll be able to use for scrobbling on the 5800. http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl…

via web in reply to Suyi

@joeltito Cheers! Yes, it will last as long for non-subscribers as any of the older versions.

via web in reply to joeltito

@fring Hello there. Do you now have a “generic MP3 streaming class” called CFringRadioPlayer or has it still got the old name?

via web

@middleda We heard there’ll be an API available soonish that we’ll be able to use for scrobbling on the 5800. http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl…

via web in reply to middleda

@theloz Maybe, but I didn’t do anything with colours. I’m hoping to have play, stop, skip, love, and ban on there instead of text though.

@gerrymoth @symbianguru Cheers! I’ve created an enhancement issue for this over here. http://bit.ly/rOp3h

via web in reply to gerrymoth

@gerrymoth Could do. I’m looking at the API now. What would you want it to do?

via web in reply to gerrymoth

@formidible Have you tried the version we released today? Should work for a little bit longer.

via Gravity in reply to formidible

@JoseCadengo I’m not sure then. Maybe Last.fm just doesn’t like you.

via Gravity in reply to JoseCadengo

@JoseCadengo If you are not in UK, US, or DE then you may have reached you’re 30 track limit. Can you listen on the official player?

via Gravity in reply to JoseCadengo

@upd8r It should be possible for me to convert, but i just don’t know how. Many thanks!

via Gravity in reply to upd8r

@atmasphere Subscriber benefits in Mobbler are better download speed, optional 64 kbps bitrate, and it’s not expected to stop working soon.

via web in reply to atmasphere

@atmasphere No. The latest version uses the old API if you are a non-subscriber and the new official API if you subscribe.

via web in reply to atmasphere

@nokiaexperts Well the latest Mobbler will work for you now until they pull the plug. I’ve no idea when that will happen though.

via web in reply to nokiaexperts

Mobbler 0.6(5124) has been released! We’ve fixed a few bugs and let non-subscribers back in. Hope everyone’s happy now!

via web

@dbarchmann I believe I’m in @janole ‘s club.

via web in reply to dbarchmann

@tristanpw Yes. It will be a hybrid. Non-subscribers will not get 64 kbps streams or improved download speeds.

via Gravity in reply to tristanpw

@gerrymoth Too right. I hope my N97 arrives today. :P

via Gravity in reply to gerrymoth

@gerrymoth @nokiaexperts Damn. I meant to put a smiley at the end of that to show that i’m friends of the freeloaders. :P

via Gravity in reply to gerrymoth

Adding old radio API back in to Mobbler so non-subscribers will be able to listen to the radio until last.fm pulls the plug.

via Gravity

@nokiaexperts Mobbler will be working again for freeloaders very soon.

via Gravity in reply to nokiaexperts

@symbianguru @cuberob Please request it here, thanks! http://code.google.com/p…

via web

@MickyFin It will one day soon, but not quite yet.

via web in reply to MickyFin

@chansearrington It’s fine. I’m told the API is on the way soonish and I can wait. Cheers!

via web in reply to chansearrington

@chansearrington Yes, I’ve been speaking to @ltomuta about the API. I’ve not received any packages from you yet.

via web in reply to chansearrington

@soldierblade There are warnings on my homepage, change log, and FAQ. You can get 0.4.5 from the downloads page. Thanks!

via web in reply to SoldierBlade

@cocinerox I can reproduce it on a Nokia N95 and N95 8GB (S60 3.1 like your E71). We’ll look into it (it’s issue 446). Thanks!

via web in reply to cocinerox

@ghaith1 Ah, ok. Please can you report a bug here with as much info (plus phone model, operator and username) and we’ll look into it. Thanks

via web in reply to ghaithrawagah

@ghaith1 I’d wager that you’re not a Last.fm subscriber. Check: http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl… and http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl…

via web in reply to ghaithrawagah

@cocinerox Change Options->Settings->Access point from “Always ask” to whichever one your heart desires.

via web in reply to cocinerox

@noahmittman 5th edition scrobbling is awaiting an API from Nokia and US/UK/DE folk now need to be subscribers http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl…

via web in reply to noahmittman

@mistysj Correct. It’s on the way, but I can’t give you a date. We are waiting on Nokia to make it possible. Perhaps a month or two?!?!

via web in reply to mistysj

@gerrymoth Correction: you’ll need a Last.fm subscription to stream radio. Non-subscribers can still scrobble and search and view lists etc.

via web in reply to gerrymoth

@ReformatMe Having said that, I amm open source, so UIQ developers can feel free to have a stab at porting me.

via web in reply to ReformatMe

@sloanb Well that’s the problem then. If you’re not a paying subscriber you can continue to use 0.4.5 until Last.fm switch it off.

via web in reply to sloanb

@ReformatMe There’s about as much chance of that as there is of another UIQ phone being released. :P

via web in reply to ReformatMe

@sloanb Are you a Last.fm subscriber? We now use their official subscriber only API. Otherwise it could be a tag Last.fm doesn’t understand.

via web in reply to sloanb

Mobbler 0.5.2 released! Let us know what you think and enjoy! http://code.google.com/p…

via web

Mobbler is open source and written for fun. If you’re a developer and fancy getting involved, please get in touch.

via web

Beta testers have raised 0 defects so far. Are we really this good? Looks like the next release will be soon rather than later.

via web

@golovlev Not yet. Still waiting on those guys at Nokia to make it possible.

via Gravity in reply to golovlev

@dbarchmann Press 9 to toggle fullscreen mode. We should add this to the instructions soon.

via web in reply to dbarchmann

Translate Mobbler? Visit here to find out how => http://code.google.com/p…

via web

We’ve started a closed beta of version 0.5.x which has some lovely new features. Not long now before a full release.

via web

@GoodSoulGermany It will be in the next version.

via web in reply to GoodSoulGermany

@thejamesweston It’s on the way, but I can’t give you a date. We are waiting on Nokia to make it possible. Perhaps a month or two?!?!

via web in reply to thejamesweston

@gerrymoth Try this to sort O2’s 43 seconds problem: http://bit.ly/7zIDT

via web in reply to gerrymoth

Vote Mobbler! :) RT @symbianguru: Random question: What’s your favorite S60 application?

via web

Last.fm now offer lower quality radio streams. Restricted data plan users and improved battery life fans should be pleased.

via Gravity

@dbarchmann Yes. There should be another beta very soon.

via Gravity in reply to dbarchmann

Full screen album art in mobbler is looking very pretty and album art transitions are coming along nicely.

via Gravity

@gerrymoth Someone else complained about this recently. I have no idea. Sorry.

via Gravity in reply to gerrymoth

@c1rrus Good news! I look forward to seeing these sketchings.

via Gravity in reply to c1rrus

@ninjalandpirate This will happen if you do not have a playlist to add the track to. Should be fixed in the next release.

via web in reply to Ninjalandpirate

@tristan_welch @mistysj A fix in Mobbler was needed for N97 which will be in our next release. Scrobbling local files will be added one day.
