@gerrymoth Good news! Keep us up to date on the progress.

Great to see some “real life” photographs Mobbler plugged into radios and stuff! How do you Mobble? http://www.flickr.com/gr…

@joeattardi I think it is pretty much the same deal for Python apps. It just depends what capabilities you need.

via web in reply to joeattardi

@joeattardi All user-grantable capabilities. Users are warned and can then grant permission for them when installing.

@Whatleydude Sure. We’ve added you and @symbianguru to our blog links.

Congratulations to @whatleydude, @kiyo21 and @rcadden for winning the mini-competition! Thanks! http://code.google.com/p…

@fadenb is my 100th follower!

@AndyMoulster Mobbler won’t play local music, but it could control the music player: a feature that requires signing and therfore donations.

via web in reply to AndyMoulster

@leemwilliams I hope you’re doing that using Mobbler!

via web in reply to leemwilliams

@AndyMoulster Yes. When you are listening to a track, press left, and then choose similar tracks.

via web in reply to AndyMoulster

@AndyMoulster You can view similar tracks/artists to the current track through the plus menu.

Mini-competition time! I need new 0.4.x screenshots for my homepage! Best pics added to http://flickr.com/groups… will be posted up!

@stephenwing What’s your idea? I’d be glad to hear it and give it a test.

via web

@khouryrt We tried, but there is no native id3 writing support on S60. You can manually add the album art through the music player though.

via web in reply to khouryrt

@paulb323 The last I heard I was still working.

Mobbler 0.4.4 released! Get it whilst it’s hot! http://tinyurl.com/cavqrb

via web

@gerrymoth It is, but would require Symbian Signed which costs money. Mobbler has very little money. Mobbler has a donations button. :)

Last call for beta feedback! http://code.google.com/p…

via web

@gerrymoth A question for you, and please can you reply on that Google page? http://tinyurl.com/ccdhr4 Thanks!

via web

@gerrymoth Mobbler doesn’t really have customers. As a Last.fm/3UK customer you seem best placed to tackle this for the good of other users.

via web in reply to gerrymoth

@gerrymoth It’s not specified so port 80. Perhaps Last.fm should be contacted. Why is the new play server different to the old kingpin ones?

via web in reply to gerrymoth

@MickyFin Great, thanks! Indivudal reports for each issue FTW. Then my developers can fix each one in turn. Huge long essays scare me!

via web in reply to MickyFin

@MickyFin As a beta tester, please report a bug and attach a screenshot here: http://tinyurl.com/Mobbl… Thanks!

via web in reply to MickyFin

It’s my birthday! First release was a year ago today. Thanks for your support over the last year! I’m now off to eat some doughnuts. Cheers!

via web

@gerrymoth Possible. There’s lots we can do and haven’t. We hope to make more frequent updates for these things in future.

via web in reply to gerrymoth

@niklasw Thanks! It’s fun on the bandwagon! This is a joint account for the dev team so there will be posts from all 2 of us.

via web in reply to niklasw

@khouryrt Mobbler uses a http connection and there is no SSL. I’m not really sure what’s causing the problem, but am confident it’s not me.

via web in reply to khouryrt

@khouryrt Of course you can join the beta. Just follow the instructions here http://code.google.com/p…

via web in reply to khouryrt

@khouryrt Thanks! You could check to see if your access point has a proxy (in advanced settings). If it does, remove it and try again.

via web in reply to khouryrt

Private beta release is out!

via web

@aidilfbk Yes, a countdown of songs before sleep is possible. Request it here! http://code.google.com/p…

via web in reply to aidilfbk

@hairyhatfield Yes. Currently only scrobbling from the music player is not supported on S60v5, but I have not given up hope of adding this.

via web in reply to hairyhatfield

@aidilfbk Don’t worry, I’ll soon have a sleep timer so you can happily fall asleep listening to music

via web in reply to aidilfbk

@symbian Happy 0th birthday for yesterday, Symbian Foundation!
